Here we see a problem area on this butt seam that cracked over time - not uncommon on PEI - sometimes things just move on their own!

Finally!  We have our nice even surface painted and finished - a very satisfying difference!

So, here again we find a problem with a seam cracking at a corner join - steps were taken so that this problem will not repeat itself.

After the initial problem was addressed it was time to get the area taped and covered with subsequent coats of compound.

The finished product is very encouraging with the damage issues  being corrected so now the freshly painted area can be enjoyed free from blemish!
